Most owners don't need a bigger plan. They need one problem fixed properly, with a deadline. BusinessBooster.ca runs 90-day boost sprints for Canadian small and mid-sized businesses: we pick the one constraint that is costing you the most, work on it every week for 13 weeks, and prove with your own numbers whether it moved. It is business and marketing consulting with a stopwatch attached.
Why 90 days, and why only one problem
A 90-day sprint is long enough to see a real change in enquiries or sales, and short enough that nobody loses interest. A full quarter gives most small businesses three billing cycles, several hundred customer contacts and enough data to tell a real gain from a lucky week.
Limiting the sprint to one problem is the part owners resist and later thank us for. A five-person company that tries to rebuild its website, launch ads, fix pricing and hire a salesperson at the same time usually finishes none of them. One constraint, attacked weekly, tends to get finished.
Typical constraints we see:
- Not enough of the right enquiries. The phone is quiet or full of poor-fit callers.
- Enquiries that don't turn into sales. Quotes go out late, follow-up stops after one try, or the offer is unclear.
- Customers who buy once and vanish. No reminder, no referral ask, no reason to come back.
- An owner who is the bottleneck. Every decision waits for one person, so nothing moves.
The sprint diagnostic exists to choose between these honestly.
How the 13 weeks are laid out
Weeks one and two are diagnosis; weeks three to twelve are execution; week thirteen is the review.
| Weeks | What happens | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Baseline, constraint choice, sprint charter | A one-page charter with the target figure |
| 3–6 | First changes shipped, tracking checked | Early read on whether the lever works |
| 7–10 | Double down on what moves, cut what doesn't | A clearer cost per result |
| 11–12 | Make the winning changes routine | Written procedures your team can run |
| 13 | Day-90 review against the baseline | A keep, kill or scale list |
Every week includes a 30-minute review of a one-page scoreboard. If a figure stalls for two weeks, we change the approach rather than wait for a monthly report to tell us.
A worked example you can check
Suppose your business receives 60 enquiries a month, closes 20% of them, and the average sale is worth $1,200. That is 12 sales and $14,400 a month.
- Lift enquiries by a quarter, to 75, at the same close rate: 15 sales, $18,000.
- Or keep 60 enquiries and lift the close rate to 28% with faster replies and two extra follow-ups: about 17 sales, $20,160.
The second path costs no extra ad spend. That arithmetic is why the diagnostic looks at your quote-to-sale process before recommending more lead flow. Run the same sum with your own figures before you call us; it often settles the question by itself.
What results from our HVAC work show
The sprint method comes from years of building and running marketing for home-heating companies, and those results are the evidence we can point to. They are results from our HVAC work, not from every sector:
- BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days, the clearest proof that one quarter of focused work can change the numbers.
- HeatLand saw a 300% lead increase in 6 months, backed by 850+ SEO articles.
- HVACDeal.ca generated 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI.
What transfers to other businesses is the discipline: a baseline, one lever at a time, and a weekly number. The results page explains what each case does and doesn't prove.
Who leads the work
BusinessBooster.ca is one of the consulting brands in the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, run from our Vancouver, British Columbia headquarters. Sprints are led by Ali Sedighi, MBA in Technology Management, who has 17+ years of experience since founding a digital marketing agency in 2007 and has built 150+ live HVAC websites. More on the about page.
We work with owners in every province and territory. Each regional page covers local buyers, seasons and the registries and regulators worth knowing.
What it costs and how to start
Sprints are priced under the group's published consulting models, from $3,500 for a defined project, plus GST/HST. See pricing for the full range and the FAQ for contract and ownership questions.
Your opening 30-minute call costs nothing, and no sprint locks you in. Bring three numbers: monthly enquiries, how many become sales, and your average sale. Then call, text or email and we'll tell you whether a sprint makes sense, or whether something smaller would do.

How it works
Name the constraint
In the first two weeks we look at your numbers and agree on the single bottleneck the sprint will attack, plus the one figure that proves it moved.
Run eleven working weeks
Each week we ship a small change, read the scoreboard together for 30 minutes, and decide what to keep, fix or drop before the next week starts.
Decide on day 90
We review the result against the baseline and hand you a written keep, kill or scale list. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.
Frequently asked questions
What is a 90-day business boost sprint?
It is a fixed 13-week engagement aimed at one measurable bottleneck in your business, such as too few enquiries, slow quote follow-up or customers who never come back. Two weeks go to diagnosis, eleven to weekly changes, and the end is a written review.
Why only one bottleneck?
Because small teams cannot run five projects at once and still serve customers. Picking one constraint keeps the work small enough to finish and the result clear enough to judge.
Do you promise a specific result?
No. We agree a baseline and a target before we start and report honestly against both every week. Some sprints beat the target, some don't, and the day-90 review says which and why.
What does a sprint cost?
Sprints are scoped under the group's published consulting models: projects run $3,500–$25,000 and retainers $2,500–$12,000 per month, plus GST/HST by province. The first 30-minute consultation is free and your proposal gives the exact figure.
Who is behind BusinessBooster.ca?

Do you work with businesses outside British Columbia?
Yes. We consult by video call or in person, and by phone, text, email and screen-share, with owners in all ten provinces and three territories, adjusting the plan to local seasons, language rules and buyers.
